Join us for the annual Atlanta FatAss, providing low-key, post holiday fun since 1994. Burn off those holiday pounds & run more than anyone has the right to enjoy! Please remember: no wimps, no fees, no aid (well, maybe some, of each)

FatAss Crockpot Chili Contest!

Bring your best chili and vie for a special GUTS prize! Please bring the chili in a crockpot because we don't have enough burners on the stove for everyone. GUTS will provide the bowls and utensils as well some yummy chili toppings. Each runner will be given a ballot to vote for their favorite chili and the winner will receive a special award.

Parking Directions

Parking in Group Shelter parking lot or adjacent parking area. Please follow signs and directions of volunteers.

There is a $5 State Park parking fee. Fee will be collected upon your arrival into the park, so please have $5 or your annual park pass handy. Georgia Annual State Park passes are a great way to support our parks, and may be purchased at the park headquarters or online.

Course Details

The course is 6 loops, on the white trails. All trail, with a few hills. Start/Finish will be at the Group Shelter. Hot food will be available at the finish. So, come join us for this fun, astronomically low-key run! Burn off those holiday pounds and run more than anyone has the right to enjoy! You have nothing to lose except those holiday pounds and run more than anyone has the right to enjoy!
CUTOFF: Runners must start the final loop by 3:00 PM.

Average high of 51 and average low of 35. Usually the weather is pleasantly cool, but we've had bitter cold, snow, rain and even warm and sunny. So, check the weather forecast close to the race date.
