You can go as many or as few miles as you like, but usual routes are 4-7 miles and there are runners of all paces.

Runners can park on Kirk Rd (directly across the street from the park gate) or in Mulkey parking lot (after 5pm only) located at 904 Kennesaw Ave or at Northwest Exterminating  (200 meters south from the park gate-830 Kennesaw Ave).

On the 1st Tuesday of the month GUTS orders pizza! So, bring a chair and your favorite beverage and enjoy some time with your fellow GUTS members

Join us for a fun running challenge!  No matter how long you think you might last in the challenge, come out for a run at Kennesaw Mountain. You can go for a run of your choosing before or after participating in the challenge, continue to run the challenge loop to watch/heckle those still running, or simply hang out at the park gate and watch each loop’s finish.  Bagels and beverages will be provided at 10:30am. Parking and post run food will be across the street from the park gate, in Mulkey Enterprises parking lot (904 Kennesaw Ave).

Challenge Rules

• Each participant will receive a wristband prior to the start. They will relinquish their wristband when out of the challenge.
• At 8am we will run the 0.8 mile challenge loop together so everyone will know the route.  Start at the park gate on Kennesaw Ave.
• Every loop thereafter the last person to complete the loop will be out of the challenge
• 1 minute after the last person finishes a loop, the next loop will begin.  
• Runners must be in the starting box at least 10 seconds prior to starting the next loop or they will be out of the challenge.
• Loops will continue until there is 1 person left.
• If there is a tie for last person to complete a loop, both runners will be removed.
• Depending on the number of participants, the last 2 people to complete the loop will be out (to be announced prior to starting a loop).
• Last person in the challenge receives a special prize!
